The "Election Day" Report
Greetings fellow Toastmasters! Here is the report for the previous meeting held on the 5th March 2008. The meeting started at 6.40pm
The theme of the day was "Election Day" and everyone could feel the election fever! The word of the day was "campaigning" which was suitable indeed for the day.

1. CC Choy Wee Ming - Assigned meeting roles (from the Successful Club Series)
CC Choy explained the roles of roleplayer in a Toastmasters meeting and how important they are in making the meeting an interesting one
2. MK Lau - Service and Leadership (from the Leadership Excellence Series)
3. ATM Rengan - Exercise your rights (Speech #3)
ATM Rengan talked about the process of voting in general which can be divided to three categories: Registration, Decision making, Casting the vote
4. TM Wendy Lim - Paradise Island (Speech #6)
TM wendy narrates about the dream house she saw in her dreams which felt so surreal
5. TM Surindra - Jokes Aside (Speech #9)
Is laughter the best medicine? TM Surindra shared the benefits of laughter from scientific point of view
Table topics
In line with the theme, 4 volunteers for the table topics session (ATMB Fauzi, Hadzrin, Idzhan and Ridzuan) engaged in a debate on the topic "Man can live without woman".
Hadzrin and Idzhan were in one team and gave strong points against the topic, while ATMB Fauzi and Ridzuan laid out interesting points for the topic. It was an enjoyable debate indeed!
This was a very eventful meeting and the TME conducted a short quiz on the Presidents of the USA (past and present) to keep the crowd entertained.
Awards
As usual, the awards were given to the best speaker, evaluator and table topic player. Toastmasters who received certificates are
