UEM Academy & Exact ADC1 TMC Joint Meeting Report

There have been a few talks on having joint meeting with other clubs and this time it has come to reality! We finally managed to organize a Joint Meeting with Exact ADC1 on 22 Dec 2008, to note a great ending for UEMA Toastmaster Club in year 2008.

The meeting was held at the million dollar view venue, none other than the 42nd Floor, KLCC! To mark the special event, the theme of this meeting was - Late Show @ KLCC: Christmas Special. Other than the members of both clubs, the meeting was also shined by a few special guests that joined us i.e. DTM Azmi Shahrin, Area W2 Governor CC, CL Ernest Wong, Ernst & Young TMC President ACS, CL Rengan as well as guests from HELP University College TMC. It was our pleasure to have all of you with us!

The meeting started off with our co-host, Hedzri announcing, "From the city of where fuel price is now RM1.80, presenting to you, the host for the late show tonight.... Hadzrin!". Hadzrin then ran out from the entrance and waved to the audience.

The unique part of this meeting was that, the co-host would hold the card board with words like "applause", "laugh", "aww..." etc. for the audience to follow and act... such a creative idea!!

Of course the show wouldn't be complete without the speakers!

We took a break before the project speeches session. The food was great. We had roasted chicken with Spaghetti Napolitana! A pre-celebration for Christmas!

We resume the meeting with the top 10 list specially presented by our host CC Hadzrin on "What would be the worst name for Flo Rida should he change his name?". It was an entertaining session. The energetic host even danced to spice up the session!

After so much laughters, we continued with the project speeches and we have:

After listening to the interesting speeches, DTM Azmi took over the floor for the evaluation session.

Everyone had an enjoyable and great Toastmasters night and guessed it's time to go home?... No no no... we had another surprise...

Surprise birthday celebration for our dearest AG Ernest! It was his 24th birthday! The cake was yummy... Mmm...

All in all, it was a successful Joint Meeting between UEM Academy and Exact ADC1. We had learned from each other and the most important thing is, we have bonded both clubs much closer! Great job everyone who was involved in this meeting... and looking forward for the next joint meeting!
