A Tribute To The Warriors Report



Dear all my fellow friends,

We had a wonderful and joyful meeting yesterday. With the theme ' A Tribute To Warrior', our TME, Mazlan, CC did a very well done jobs when mentioning all the names of our warriors such as Dato' Bahaman, Dato' Maharajalela who fought for our country!


Below are the report:

We started our meeting by our President's keynote address. He made an unexpected announcement that....there will be NO MORE SEPARATE meetings for both clubs. Hoorayyy!! Clap..Clap.. Clap.. Thus, there will only be a JOINT-MEETING instead. The organizer will definitely alternate by both clubs. - Love it!! UNITED WE STAND...

TABLE TOPIC SESSION

Then, the meeting continued with the Table Topic Session handled by our President himself. He really energized us to take part in the session in order for us to improve our spontaneous skills.

TTS #1 - Hadzrin, ACB,CL a.k.a our MJ in da' house
Question : Benefits of National Service to our youth.

He shared with us the benefits of National Service for youth. He pointed out clearly on the awareness of nationalism, one of the platforms to bring our youth together besides, they volunteer doing good things. To attract more youth to participate in that program, the involvement of young artist such as Alif and Diana Danialle attract the attention! Finally, it builds the relationship bonding among them.. As usual, his aura kept us to listen to him dearly... wow!

TTS #2 - Janah a.k.a cheerful lady among us...
Question : If you have to choose to work in Military, which one would you choose between Army, Navy and Air Force?

Since she loves travelling so much, she will choose to be an air-force crew. To be exact- a pilot. She also shared with us about her friend, a woman who was the 1st Batch jet-fighter pilot who also involved in bringing the ministers for overseas visit. It was a good speech indeed Janah! I love the way you bring up the spirit among us especially when you talked about 'woman' spirit! :)



TTS #3 - Liza a.k.a the most 'sensation' gurl in town!
Question : People said 'Pen is sharper than the sword'. What do you think?

She started a little bit slow, but when she 'awake', we can't stop her from talking.. She shared with us how the power of the author who can change the mindset of people by only reading the articles. By writing (as a pen) they can reach out to those people across the country especially in rural area. They also helped people to shape their thought,mind and their character with the word from the pen! It was superb sis! Full of wisdom.. I like it very much.. :)

TTS #4 - Helmi a.k.a the most 'cute' girls in da' house...
Question : We know the contribution of the soldiers to our country. What about the contributions from our atletes to our country?

She gave us the explanation on how the atlete can contribute by giving a good name and raise our country image especially in sports arena whenever they gave their best performance! Cayalah sis.. u can do it very well this time.. Keep up the good effort!


PROJECT SPEECHES:

Looi Khen Yu, PS #6 Laughter The Best Medication

He appeared very confident this time and well-prepared speeches. He shared with us on how laughter can increase the level of endorphines in our body thus gave us a healthy life-style. His speech had lots of facts, and the most important part is, he remember it all. You inspired us Looi, looking forward for your next speech!!!

Norizal Faisal, PS #7 Bowling


He was calm as usual, together with his bowling ball and new bowling shoes. He shared with us on the history of bowling and demonstrate us how to hold the bowling ball. He also mentioned on the selection of ball weight should not be more than 10% of our body weight. The most unforgettable moment during his speech for me was when he showed the slide .. jeng jeng jeng
"LET'S BOWL and STRIKE GIRLS".. To all the bowlers out there, please take note! :P





Nor Hashimah PS#9 Volunteering

Once she stood in front of us, she started with the superb question 'Do you still remember the Tsunami Tragedy happened in 2004?'. It was really an attention grabber to all of us. She then continued giving examples on what she did, the volunteer agency such as Mercy, Yayasan Salam and so forth went out volunteering themselves in helping the people in Acheh. She also shared with us on her experience on collecting the used cloth, groceries and etc volunteerily as a token of her noble cause towards the events. Her speech was ful of sincerity when we can see sparkling eyes of her telling us the benefits of volunteering. Personally, i think she did a very good job when all of us influenced by her speech to volunteer ourselves i future. Congrate sis! I'm looking forward for your 10th Speech!

Johan Saleimi ACM#1 (Special Occasion Speeches) A Toast to the True Leader

Johan showed us on how do we should deliver a speech in the occasion to appreciate someone. He was using his ability to praise with some excellent choice of flowery words such as 'If you are a bird, you'll be the one who leads the flock of birds', 'If you are a star, you'll be the north-star who leads the way for the ships' and 'If you are the sea, you are the one who produce the melody sounds of the waves'. Guess what, he dedicated the speech to our IPP, Hadzrin, ACB,CL a.k.a his evaluator.. Ha ha ha.. Frankly, eventhough i'm not Hadzrin, i' touched and mesmerised of his words! Cayalah our 'Mat Bunga' :P

PRESIDENTIAL END SPEECH

The meeting then continued with our President closing speech. There are several announcement made by him which have been laid as below:

1. There will be NO MORE SEPARATE MEETING, thus starting from this pont of time only JOINT MEETING applies to all.

2. Starting this term, there will be new approach applies to all which are:

- For scheduled speakers who are scheduled to deliver speech for example on 3rd week of the month, they have to attend and play roles on the 1st week or 4th week of previous month to secure their slots.

- If they fail to do so, their slots will be given to those who attends the meeting earlier and will be put in the waiting list.

- Reminder to those who can't attend or missed their slots, they will also be put in the waiting list util they fulfill the requirements.
