Speech contests
Though the UEM Group Toastmasters Club did not manage to hold its club-level speech contests this season, it did not forgo its area-level contests. So on Monday, 9th August 2010, three members braved the massive Midvalley traffic to attend the Area W1 Humorous Speech and Speech Evaluation contests.
Bravo President Fadhlan, for diving head on into the humor pool. You survived and I am sure you have gained a lot of positive things (coming out of that pool). I will always remember your "potato chips".
Our Exco member and IPP JunJun did equally great. Asking the audience not to assume via the subject of sex ... You guys missed a lot for not going to the contest. Ha ha ...
I, on the other hand, will continue to be disliked by our Klang Valley judges for my brand of evaluation. Enough said ;-P
